Life Lessons from Skiing

Sustainable living should be everyone’s focus.

Zero waste helps every living being.

You can tell the kids what they need to do, suggest how they do it, and help them when they fall, but ultimately they have to get down the mountain themselves.

Dress to be outside, not to go from one indoor space to another.

Exercise is a better way to manage negative emotions than alcohol.

Exercise is a better way to gain energy than drinking caffeine.

Keep life fun.

Know your limits but challenge them occasionally.

Stop to make sure the fallen person can get up or the lost child finds her way.

When we are all looking out for each other, everyone is safe.

Appreciate nature and you will understand the need to conserve.

Water is life. Snow results in water. We need winter.

More particulates in the air melt the snow more quickly.
