Yeah, I’m goin’ to Jackson,
Look out Jackson town.
Johnny Cash featuring June Carter Cash
We couldn’t help ourselves—we had to sing that song as we rolled into town. Today we went snowshoeing in Grand Teton National Forest. The kids were skeptical, until we made tracks in fresh powder and climbed up a hill through the trees and jumped off an outcropping. I love this activity because the gear is simple; all you need is snow; and you stay warm because you are constantly moving.
Forgot to mention that Justin saw a photographer taking a picture over the National Elk Refuge. We looked out and saw a wolf in the meadow; he was heading toward the elk herd. So cool!
I think this photo will be our album cover.
