We spent Thursday on Playa Los Cerritos on the Pacific Ocean side of the Baja. The beauty of this place is unbelievable! The beach itself is a crescent shape with rolling waves perfect for surfing.
Everyone—except the gimp sniff 😢—took surf lessons from Salvatore Mario’s Surf School. The sand in the surf sparkles bronze—a mixture of tan and black sand with flecks of mica or something similar. I want this color in my home some day; these photos are only glimpses of the beauty. BTW, I had to type ‘tan and black’ instead of Black and Tan because the auto correct kept capitalizing the first letters (haha) even digital devices direct us toward alcohol (rolls eyes).
The area surrounding the beach is just starting to be developed so it’s still a bit of a hidden gem. There was a critical mass of people to make it fun but not enough to make it crowded. You have to drive along a bumpy dirt road to get there. We are definitely staying there the next time we go to the Baja. https://www.cabosanlucasbeaches.com/los-cerritos-beach/
