Back in the U.S.

Our journey back to the states was very smooth. Three flights had been consolidated into one. Only 20 people were on the flight. Once in LAX we didn’t have to have a health screening, maybe because we came from a place that doesn’t have any reported cases. We took off early and landed 45 minutes early. We waited only a few minutes in the customs line and baggage claim. It was like traveling through a small airport. We were able to rent a car, though only a small number of staff were working. Now we are staying at the airport Hilton. Tables are placed between the reception counter and where customers stand to enforce the 6 feet rule. At the Cheesecake Factory, there is tape where customers are supposed to stand. The hotel bistro is serving carry out. The best news is that the boys were able to get carry out from In and Out Burger.

While it’s the end of our dream world tour, more adventures are in store for us trying to get back home.
