Yes, there is a place called Bearizona Wilderness Park, and we loved it https://bearizona.com/. It’s safari but with North American animals (bears, mountain goats, wolves, deer, burros). You drive through the park to see the animals in an open habit within the park. They also have a zoo; we discovered ’javelinas,’ a type of peccary which is a medium-sized pig-like hoofed mammal found in the southwestern United States: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peccary.

After the Bearizona experience, we drove into Oak Creek Canyon to Slide Rock State Park within Coconino National Park. The state park was an old homestead with an apple orchard; many of the trees still remain in the park. But the best park is the natural water slide in the river. It was way too cold to get in Oak Creek but we love the idea! There is hike in it within the small canyon of the creek and another overlook canyon. The views are amazing.
